Disneyland Park Ride closures:
Disneyland Fireworks - These nights do not have fireworks: February 29, March 4, 5, 6, 7.
Wondrous Journeys Fireworks will be presented March 22 - April 14, 2024.
Together Forever Fireworks will return April 26, 2024
Astro Orbitor is closed until March 22, 2024
Fantasmic! will return on May 24, 2024
Splash Mountain is closed until late 2024 and is being re-themed to Tiana’s Bayou Adventure.
Disney California Park Ride closures:
Radiator Springs Racers - closed February 25 - March 2, 2024.
Incredicoaster - Closed March 4 - 15, 2024.
Grizzly River Run - Reopens for the season on March 1, 2024.
Redwood Creek Challenge Trail - is closes March 4th. Reopening has not been announced.
Soarin’ Over California closes on April 22, 2024. Soarin’ Around the World reopening has not been announced.
Downtown Disney
Catal Restaurant & Uva Bar closed permanently on April 14, 2023 and is being replaced by Paseo and Centrico which will reopen in 2024.
Disney Hotel Refurbishments:
Small Bytes Rooftop Bar at Pixar Place Holtel opens early March 2024.
Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel has been reopened as Pixar Place Hotel.
Disneyland and Disney California Adventure Special Events:
March 1 - April 22, 2024 - Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival: The gastronomic extravaganza serves up creative foods and beverages, cooking demonstrations and family- friendly entertainment inspired by the diverse cultures and cuisines of the Golden State. The popular attraction, Soarin’ Over California, also returns for a limited time during the festival.
April 5 - June 2, 2024 - Season of the Force at Disneyland Park: Season of the Force arrives at Disneyland park with Hyperspace Mountain and specially themed food and beverage, merchandise and more for a limited time. Debuting during the celebration, you’ll be able to embark on new adventures aboard Star Tours – The Adventures Continue, and Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge will provide fresh perspective on the fireworks above Disneyland park, with galactic music sweeping through the spires.
Beginning May 24 - the nighttime spectacular “Fantasmic!” will once again illuminate the Rivers of America in Disneyland park, featuring new special effects, a thrilling new battle scene between Sorcerer Mickey and Maleficent, plus the return of the iconic “Peter Pan” scene. In this treasured show, fantastic events and images from Disney stories come to life through soaring music, dozens of live performers, character appearances and state-of-the-art projections.
August 23 - October 31, 2024 - Halloween Time at the Disneyland Resort: Fun for all ages, this spellbinding season transforms the resort with autumn décor, characters dressed in hauntingly haute Halloween outfits and uniquely themed attractions.
August 23 - November 2, 2024 - Plaza de la Familia at Disney California Adventure Park: The everlasting bonds of family and Mexican traditions of Día de los Muertos are honored through a cultural experience featuring storytelling and music from Pixar’s “Coco.”
Beginning November 14, 2024 - Holidays at the Disneyland Resort: Family and friends can celebrate the season with the lively Disney Festival of Holidays at Disney California Adventure, plus seasonal overlays on beloved attractions, cherished holiday spectaculars and dazzling wintry décor throughout the resort.
