All About Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique at Disney World

BIG NEW: Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique will reopen in the Magic Kingdom on August 25, 2022. Beginning in early August, reservations may be booked only through the My Disney Experience app. The Disney Springs and Grand Floridian resort locations will remain closed at this time. We will update this page when those re-openings are announced.

Did you know that the Fairy Godmother has opened two salons called Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique at the Walt Disney World Resort where lovely little ladies (ages 3 - 12) can come to get the sparkle and shine that every princess needs. And the Fairy Godmother has brought on a whole team of “Fairy Godmothers-in-Training” to help with these grand transformations.

 Where can I find the Bibbidi Bobbiddi Boutique?

There is a Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique inside the Magic Kingdom within Cinderella's Castle, across from Cinderella's Royal Table. This location is extremely popular, with many guests wanting to pair the princess makeover with the meal with Cinderella so we recommend that you make reservations as early as possible.  Theme park admission required to use this location.

Currently the Magic Kingdom location is the only one open. The other Bibbiddi Bobbiddi Boutique locations are behind Once Upon a Toy at Disney Springs (Formerly Downtown Disney) and at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa.  The original Bibbiddi Bobbiddi Boutique in the Princess Room at World of Disney has closed.   Once they reopen, the great thing about these two locations are that no theme park admission is required and parking is free.   If you don't have a car, bus transportation is available from the Disney World resort hotels but consider using a cab if you're wanting to get the makeover prior to a princess meal.  There are no buses that run between Disney Springs and the Disney theme parks or directly between the resorts.

Walk-ins are extremely rare, but are accepted when space is available. Reservations are strongly recommended.  Talkto your Mouse Trip Travel Agent or call (407) 939-7835 to book your reservation.

Special Instructions:  This service is available for children age 3to 12 years old. The child's name & age and the accompanying adult's name must be provided when the reservation is made. You must bring your own comb or hairbrush to the appointment. Hair must be clean, combed, and free of scalp disease. Finger nails must not have any polish and hair should be free of gels, hairspray or similar products. One adult must stay with the child through the entire appointment.  Your appointment will take 30 - 60 minutes, depending on the package selected.

Money Saving Tip:  The costumes for sale at Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique are very nice but you can save a ton of money by purchasing a costume at Target or Walmart and bringing it with you.

Can Teens and Adults Get An Appointment?

Unfortunately, Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique is limited to ages 3 - 12 but you can get an updo and make-up appointment for about $145 at the Ship Shape Salon (Disney's Beach Club Resort) and they will be happy to include the tiara and pixie dust (glitter); nail polish costs extra. Costumes are not available but you are welcome to bring your own.   The make-up used is better and more age appropriate than the make-up used for the children's appointments. Oh, No!  They're Completely Booked - What Do I Do?

Here's something you can try, if you weren't able to book an appointment at the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique:

1. Keep trying - cancellations do happen.

2. If you are trying to make an appointment for more than one child, try asking for just one slot - you may have to come at different times but it may be possible to get in.

3. Character Couture Package available at La Vida Salon at Disney's Coronado Springs Resort, and the Ship Shape Salon at Disney's Yacht & Beach Club Resorts. Also available are Storybook Style, a classic character inspired hairdo called the Magical Makeover when you include make-up, and the Timeless Transformation package which includes nail polish.
