The Pros

The Cons
Navigational Notes: As with any voyage, there are certain aspects to consider when setting sail at the Yacht Club. One of the things to keep in mind is the occasional delay in transportation, especially when services are shared with the neighboring Epcot resorts. Patience might just be an additional item to pack. The luxurious allure of deluxe resorts like the Yacht Club does come with a premium tag. If your itinerary is heavily tilted towards exploring theme parks, it's worth considering where you'd love to invest your time and resources. And while the Yacht Club offers an elegant dining experience, those seeking character-themed meals might find it a tad quiet. However, a splash of character-filled dining is just around the corner at the Beach Club Resort.
Our Opinion of Disney’s Yacht Club
We don't deny that the Magic Kingdom monorail loop is really cool but, honestly, Disney's Yacht Club and the Epcot resort area is a great alternative even if it isn't near the Magic Kingdom or the monorail. The setting is pretty and the pool is amazing. You really can skip the theme parks and still have a great vacation while staying at the Yacht Club. The proximity to all the Epcot resort area hotels, restaurants, and activities makes this resort an ideal choice, and the Skyliner opens up four more resorts as well as an ariel path to Disney’s Hollywood Studios. You're right next to Epcot which means anyone with a Park Hopper ticket has access to an incredible number of restaurants, shops and entertainment. If this resort is out of your budget for your whole vacation, consider staying here for a night or two at the beginning or end of your trip - it'll be the most restful part of your vacation. The Yacht Club provides a quieter alternative, if the Beach Club and Boardwalk are a little much for you. The one thing we really don't like about the Epcot resort area is that the Boardwalk, Yacht Club and Beach Club sometimes share the bus transportation which means extra stops and extra time to go anywhere. Plan on using ride-share or a taxi if you need to be somewhere in a hurry.
